Hello, my name is Heather Yagi and I am
the crochet artist behind "Yagi's Yarn"!

Years ago, I worked in the Animation Industry as a 3D modeler for a few low budget children's shows. I enjoyed it! But the work was very inconsistent and had on and off contracts. Having a background in the Digital Arts, I quickly became obsessed with the art of crochet. Now I split my time when not working for the industry, crocheting and making adorable critters! I absolutely love doing it and couldn't have asked for a better background in 3D art to help me quickly pick up the skills.
My Story
All my life I have been obsessed with stuffed animals, when I was a kid my childhood bedroom was a hoarders nightmare filled with plushies and I loved it! I only just recently reawakened that love for cute plushie babies when I started crocheting during the pandemic. I had no idea the power it would have that I could now make any adorable creature I wanted! So, instead of keeping all of them (even though I wanted to) I decided to sell them and spread the joy. Also, because my husband is a minimalist and I needed to compromise! So please help my husband and adopt some of these wonderful fluffy babies. He would greatly appreciate the space.
